Cinema Světozor, Prague (6. 11. 2008 - 15. 12. 2008) —
Posters by Karel Machálek-Zlín who has lived and worked in Paris since 1977, are the sixth part of the author exhibition series The Golden Era of the Czechoslovakian Film Poster. The author attended the event personally.
Karel Machálek is one of the major Czech graphic artists. His posters for films Oedipus Rex, Beaty of the Day-, Stolen Kisses or Falstaff are the best of what was created in the Czechoslovakian film poster.
Aero Cinema, Prague (15. 10. 2008 - 15. 12. 2008) —
In the scope of this unique cine-meeting „40 films by Ingmar Bergman“ that took place in October 2008 in cinema Aero, Prague was introduced an exhibition of posters designed for Bergman´s films .
Castello Di Rivara, Torino, Italy (18. 9. 2008 - 10. 11. 2008) —
The exhibition introduced 250 Czechoslovakian posters for Italian films and it took place in a beautiful location of a renaissance castle Centro D´Arte Contemporara – Castello Di Rivara that is in possession of reputable galerist from Torino Mr.Franz Paludetto.
Cinema Světozor, Prague (4. 9. 2008 - 8. 10. 2008) —
In the fifth part of the exhibition series „The Golden Era of the Czechoslovakian Film Poster“ was introduced an artist work of Olga Poláčková-Vyleťalová, the author of one of the most reputable Czech poster A Gentle Creature. The exhibition was opened with the author personally.
