Kino Máj, Litoměřice (25. 8. 2009 - 1. 10. 2009) —
Selection of twenty posters were in harmony with theme of festival: "French classic and noir inspiration across cinematography. Audience could see not only czechoslovakian but polish and german poster art as well.
Czech Centre Tokyo, Japan (13. 8. 2009 - 25. 9. 2009) —
A collection of 30 posters by Milan Grygar was introduced in Tokyo. Since the 80’s Milan Grygar has been one of the few Czech artists who have their admirers and fans as far as Japan. The exhibition was organized in cooperation with The Czech Centre in Tokyo and its director Mr Petr Holy.
Cinema Hvězda, Uherské Hradiště (24. 7. 2009 - 31. 8. 2009) —
At this year’s Summer Film School in Uherske Hradiste we introduced a selection of pieces of work by notable Polish graphic designers. We presented top works by Jan Lenica, Roman Cieszlewicz, Andrzej Klimowski and other Polish artists. Terry’s Socks collection of film posters includes about 500 types of Polish posters. Cineme Helios, Wroclaw (18. 7. 2009 - 3. 8. 2009) —
The biggest film festival in Poland Era Nowe Horizonty brought out Czechoslovak posters 1960-1989, over 40 posters by prominent Czech artists which are part of Terry´s Socks, a collection of film posters.
Aeroport, IFF Karlovy Vary (3. 7. 2009 - 12. 7. 2009) —
Mysterious rooms of Carlsbad’s Aeroport will host the 2nd exhibition of Czechoslovak Film Posters of Terry’s Socks collection. The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Love in Czech film poster” …
