Museum of Cinematography Lodž, Poland (9. 12. 2010 - 31. 1. 2011) —
An exhibition of some 90 film posters, currently on display in the Muzeum Kinematografie in Lodz, introduces both Polish and Czechoslovak film posters. The exhibition compares both national versions of film posters for the same film.
After more than 20 years, a joint exhibition of Polish and Czeschoslovak film posters took place and enabled thus a comparison of both the national film poster styles. Some 45 couples of Polish and Czechoslovak posters for the same film are displayed in the Muzeum Kinematografie in Lodz.
The exhibition is accompanied by a rich catalogue CONFRONTATION – Czechoslovak and Polish Film Poster. On its 250 pages, the catalogue contains 150 reproductions of posters, all in Czech, Polish and English versions. The catalogue was published by TERRY POSTERS as its first book ever published. The book can be ordered here.
