An invitation to an exhibition and a poster preview:

The World Classics in the Czechoslovakian film posters

Kino Aero Praha, Kino Hvězda Uherské Hradiště, Kino Boskovice (1. 1. 2008 - 31. 3. 2008) —

An itinerant exhibition presented 33 posters of classic works of the world cinematography from the 60´s and 70´s (Fellini, Bergman, Buňuel, Pasolini, Godard, Visconti, Tarkovskij)

This travelling exhibition which was shifted from domiliciary cinema Aero in Prague into cinema Hvězda in Uherské Hradiště and cinema in Boskovice introduced to viewers posters for the film classics. Visitors have a possibility to see over a magnificent poster by Josef Vyleťal for film The Silence by Ingmar Bergman. Bedřich Dlouhý, Zdeněk Ziegler a Karel Vaca tried to capture an unique atmosphere of film poems by Federico Fellini in their posters for films La Dolce Vita, 8 ½, The Roma, Juliet of the Spirits, Ginger a Fred or Amaracord. Posters by Jiří Hilmar for Godard´s films Breathless and Crazy Pete represented the French New wave.
