An exhibition of the author film posters for music films created in the Czechoslovakia between 1960 and 1989 which took place in the frames of the 4th year of the MOFFOM – Internationl Festival of Music Films.
An installation presented twenty film posters with a music theme that were designed by major graphic artists. A poster for the film Yellow submarine by Antonín Sládek became a cult one many years ago. Posters by Zdeněk Ziegler for films Carmed by the Melody and Flashdance are great topographic samples. One of the most famous Czech posters is Cabaret for Oscar film with L. Minelli and same successful are “hippie” posters by Eva Galová-Vodrážková for films Hello, Dolly and Mary Poppins.
