  • Born June 20th in Usti nad Labem.
    Painter, designer, graphic artist.**

He attended art courses in Bratislava in years 1933-1935 at Ludovit Fulla, Julia Kovarikova-Horova and Mikulas Galanda studio. He apprenticeships as carver on School of housing industry in Prague in 1943, from 1943 through 1948 studied on Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague in Josef Novak and Frantisek Tichy studio.

He worked as teacher on Public academy in Prague between 1972 and 1987. He dealt with landscapes, drawing, collage, caricature, free and applied art, illustration, ceramics and making puppils and dools. He designed wall decorative carpets. He was attending exhibitions of movie posters in France and Switzerland between 1972-1978. He´s author of many movie posters.


He has worked on movie posters from beginning of 60s. The form of early painted posters later fill with collage and photocollage (Visitors, The Long´s day dying, Babette goes to war, The Gendarme goes off ).
